The Challenge
The increase in greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution caused by urban transportation powered by fossil fuels is one of today’s major climate challenges. This issue particularly affects cities across Latin America, with direct impacts on both the climate and public health.
The Solution
The electrification of public transportation through the deployment of electric buses is the main solution promoted by E-Motion. The project combines financing, technical assistance, and innovative mobility models to reduce emissions and modernize urban transport systems.
