The Framework Project Climate Diplomacy supports the Federal Foreign Office (AA) in the implementation of Germany’s foreign climate policy and in its cooperation with partner countries. The CDAP is guided by the current priorities of the AA and the needs of partners, executing regional and bilateral actions on topics such as mitigation, loss and damage, resilience, adaptation, energy, agri-food systems, water management, climate diplomacy, climate finance, climate and security. It considers just transition principles, feminist foreign policy, and the loss and damage agenda, as well as horizontal connections (e.g., climate-security, climate-energy).
