CETP is the IEA’s flagship program to drive energy transition actions in the world. By supporting countries – especially emerging and developing countries – to better choose their energy future, it seeks to ensure a secure and sustainable future for all. Activities include data and analysis, technical cooperation, policy advice and implementation, monitoring the scale and speed of change, capacity building, and strategic dialogues. The action is organized in three pillars: (i) accelerating national and regional transitions; (ii) support outcomes of global forums; (iii) shaping global dialogue on issues of common interest. CETP contributed to the IEA’s most successful period, reinforcing its reputation as the world’s leading energy advisor.
