The ACTION project aims to boost the decarbonization of the fertilizer industry in Brazil by promoting the production of low carbon mineral fertilizers, developed from organic waste. This innovative approach is in line with the ABC+ Plan (Low Carbon Emission Agriculture) and the National Fertilizer Plan, strengthening the country’s commitment to low-carbon agriculture.

The initiative also contributes to the development of biogas solutions, promoting renewable energy sources and improving the management of organic waste. By integrating public policies, technological innovations and market strategies, the project aims to create a replicable and sustainable model for agricultural production and the chemical sector.

In a period of 66 months, the project foresees the installation of 18 production units at different scales, with an estimated potential reduction of 45 million tons of CO₂ equivalent. The objective is to structurally transform the Brazilian agricultural landscape through the adoption of sustainable practices and the mobilization of investments for net-zero technologies.
