The transport sector is responsible for about 39% of greenhouse gas emissions in Latin America. The project promotes the use of digital solutions to expand access to sustainable mobility systems and reduce emissions in urban areas.

The initiative combines technological innovations, data and integrated governance, adapting lessons from other digital sectors to accelerate local policies and solutions. It also supports the incorporation of sustainable transport targets into the NDCs and SDGs of participating countries. The actions take place at regional, national and municipal levels, involving governments, universities and international organizations in the creation of more connected, clean and accessible cities.
