IKI Brazil: Partnerships for climate and biodiversity protection
The International Climate Initiative (IKI) is one of the German government’s main instruments for international climate action. In partnership with governments, civil society organizations, and the private sector, IKI supports innovative solutions with local impact, and an emphasis on solutions for a just transition, and a global reach.
IKI has been active in Brazil since 2008, supporting public policies, partnerships, and concrete solutions across four priority areas: climate change mitigation, adaptation to its impacts, the protection of tropical forest, and biodiversity conservation.
This website invites you to explore the stories, projects, and results of this international cooperation that brings Brazil and Germany together for a just, resilient, and sustainable climate future.
